KSP Post 5 Commander

An image of Captain HayesKentucky State Police Post 5 located in Campbellsburg is under the command of Police Captain Dean Hayes. Captain Hayes received his KSP commission in January of 1986 and was appointed Post 5 commander in February of 2008.

30 Children spend day with KSP during
'Shop with a Trooper'

(LaGrange, Ky) State Troopers spent the day with children from the counties of Oldham, Henry, Trimble, Carroll, Gallatin, and Owen during Post 5's annual 'Shop with a Trooper' program over the weekend. KSP's 'Shop with a Trooper' program is an initiative providing Troopers an opportunity to impact the lives of children in need during holiday season, while providing children a chance to have positive interaction with State Troopers.

Post 5 Trooper receives DUI enforcement award

(Campbellsburg, Ky) -- Trooper Brandon Maupin, of Walton, was honored by receiving the Governor's Award for Impaired Driving Enforcement. Trooper Maupin's efforts to enhance traffic safety led to the arrests of 72 persons for Driving Under the Influence. Trooper Maupin is currently assigned to Gallatin and Owen counties. He is a 4 year veteran of the Kentucky State Police.
