KSP Post 15 Commander
Kentucky State Police Post 15 located in Columbia is under the command of Captain Jeffrey A. Suratt. Captain Suratt received his KSP commission in 1993 and was appointed Post 15 commander in July of 2012.
Kentucky State Police Post 15 serves the following Kentucky Counties:
Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington
Post 15 Detective Graduates from KY Criminalistics Academy
(Columbia, KY.) - On Friday, October 11, 2013, Kentucky State Police Post 15 Detective Bradly Stotts (center), graduated from the Kentucky Criminalistics Academy (KCA) in Richmond, Kentucky. KCA is made up of two five-week, 200-hour courses that instructors developed for full-time and newly appointed crime scene investigators and patrol officers who serve as Crime Scene Investigators for their agencies.
Lt. Eric Wolford Receives Retirement Certificate
(Columbia, KY) - Investigations Lieutenant Eric Wolford (left) receives his retirement certificate from Post 15 Commander, Captain Jeff Suratt today at Post 15. Today marks his final day at Post 15 as he is retiring after 22 years of service.
Glasgow Resident Wins Trooper Island Raffle
Debbie Tinsley (center) and her husband Larry (left), of Glasgow, Ky., picked up the keys to her new 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 1SS Coupe from Kentucky State Police Commissioner Rodney Brewer (right) at KSP headquarters in Frankfort on Sept. 30. Tinsley bought a $10 ticket for the 2013 Trooper Island raffle and her name was picked at a drawing held on Aug. 25 at the Kentucky State Fair. The raffle is the major fundraising event for Trooper Island, a free summer camp for underprivileged boys and girls age 10-12 operated by the Kentucky State Police on Dale Hollow Lake in Clinton County.
