KSP Post 10 Commander

Kentucky State Police Post 10 located in Harlan is under the command of Captain Leslie Smith. Captain Smith received his KSP commission in February of 1987 and was appointed Post 10 commander in July of 2009.

Kentucky State Police Post 10 serves the following Kentucky Counties:

Bell, Harlan, and Knox.

Post 10 "Cram the Cruiser" Campaign

(Harlan, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police Post 10 in Harlan has completed the Cram the Cruiser Campaign, which is a food drive that began on Nov. 28 and ended Dec. 12 where participants were encouraged to "cram the cruiser" with their food donations. During the drive, non-perishable food was donated by many organizations throughout Post 10's district, which covers Bell, Harlan and Knox counties. Once collected, the food will be distributed to local shelters, churches or other organizations, which serve those who are in need.
