19 Troopers And Four Civilians To Be Honored At Kentucky State Police Awards Ceremony

WHAT: Kentucky State Police Awards Ceremony
WHEN: Thursday, May 8, 12 Noon EDT
WHERE: The University Club, University of Louisville Belknap Campus, Louisville, Ky. (between the School of Education and the Red Barn, see directions below)
WHO: J. Michael Brown, Secretary of the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet, Kentucky State Police Commissioner Rodney Brewer.
AWARDS: The 2007 Kentucky State Police Trooper of the Year will be announced.
Other awards for meritorious service, bravery, valor and life-saving acts will be presented. Civilian award recipients from Mayfield, Smithland and Taylorsville will also be recognized.

I-65 from The North
I-65 South to Arthur Street exit; follow Arthur Street to the stop sign and turn right onto Brandeis/Cardinal Blvd; follow Brandeis (which becomes Cardinal Boulevard one block later) through to traffic light; after the 2nd traffic light, turn left onto UofL campus (sign will say Belknap Campus North Entrance); go to the stop sign and turn left; follow this street to the University Club and Alumni Center; parking is on the left of the building.
I-65 from The South
I-65 North to Eastern Parkway West; go right on Eastern Parkway to Third Street and turn right; follow Third Street to Cardinal Boulevard and turn right; follow Cardinal Boulevard to the next right and turn onto campus Belknap Campus North Entrance); go to the stop sign and turn left; follow this street to the University Club and Alumni Center; parking is on the left of the building.
From Highlands-Eastern Parkway-Bardstown Road
From Bardstown Road take Eastern Parkway to Third Street and turn right; follow Third Street to Cardinal Boulevard and turn right; follow Cardinal Boulevard to the next right and turn onto campus (sign will read Belknap Campus North Entrance); go to the stop sign and turn left; follow this street to the University Club and Alumni Center; parking is on the left of the building.
