CARROLL COUNTY, Ky. (04/23/2024) – On Sunday April 21, 2024 at approximately 4:19 pm the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office contacted Kentucky State Police Post 5 in reference to a structure fire at 131 Amanda Lane in Carroll County. It was reported there was possibly a person still inside the residence.
KSP Post 5 troopers and detectives responded to the scene. Fire departments from both Carroll and Henry County responded to the residence. After the fire departments extinguished the fire unidentified human remains were located inside of the residence.
At this time foul play is not suspected. This is an ongoing investigation being conducted by Kentucky State Police Post 5.
