Kentucky State Police To Hold AAA Mature Driving Class

(London, KY) -The Blue Grass Auto Club Safety Foundation and the Kentucky State Police are offering a free driver improvement class for anyone interested. The eight-hour class will be divided into two days. Day one will be held on March 7, 2006 and day 2 will be held on March 14, 2006. The free class will be held at the First Baptist Church on West 5th Street in London. The class will begin at 9:00 a.m. and last until 1:00 p.m. on both days of the class. The class will consist of lecture only and no test will be given. Classroom space is limited, so those interested should call the Church Office at 606-864-4194 to reserve their seat or by contacting Trooper Endre Samu by phone at 270-433-5422 or by email at ksptrooperisland@ky.gov.

Upon completion of the class students will receive a certificate, which, under Kentucky law, entitles anyone over the age of 55 who completes the class, to a three-year discount on their auto insurance. Students must attend both days to receive their certificate.

The Blue Grass Auto Club Safety Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization founded by AAA Blue Grass/Kentucky to promote traffic safety in 48 countries in central and eastern Kentucky.
