Kentucky Elks Association Donates To Trooper Island Camp

Sims, click for a larger imageThe Kentucky Elks Association recently donated $1,000.00 to Trooper Island, Inc. The Elks have obligated a total of $ 5,000.00 to be distributed over a 5 year period. Trooper Island was developed by the Kentucky State Police as part of a long range program of public service to the youth of Kentucky. The camp host hundreds of boys and girls, ages 10-12, during the summer months with no expense to the camper. Trooper Island is located in a secluded corner of Dale Hollow Lake near the Cumberland and Clinton County line. This is one of many charitable contributions made by the Elks of Kentucky.
