Fishing Pro J.W. 'Coop' Moreno visits Trooper Island Camp

(Albany, Ky.) -- On Wednesday, June 16th J.W. 'Coop' Moreno of Hendersonville, Tennessee professional fisherman on the FLW and B.A.S.S. weekend tournament series spent the day at Trooper Island showing campers form the Henderson and Bowling Green Post areas different fishing techniques and interacting with the campers as they fished off the Trooper Island Dock. JW was a camper himself 28 years ago and wanted to come back and talk to campers and give them fishing tips. Prior to becoming a Professional Fisherman JW was a rodeo cowboy until an injury forced him to retire at which time he then began to work on his career as a professional fisherman. While here JW gave a fishing presentation to the campers and attended two of the fishing class giving instructions to the campers on how to fish with both live and artificial baits.
