Shelby County Indictment

(FRANKFORT, Ky.) - Frankfort resident, Benita Anglin was indicted by the Shelby County Grand Jury on August 20, 2014 for eight counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking over $10,000.00, eight counts of Unlawful Access to a Computer in the First Degree, and eight counts of Theft of Identity. Investigation revealed that between March 2007 and April 2014, Mrs. Anglin unlawful took over $590,000.00 from the Shelby County School District. Mrs. Anglin was the payroll manager of the Shelby County Public School System. She utilized her position of employment to access the school system payroll computer software and steal money utilizing a previous employee's identity. On August 22, 2014, Mrs. Anglin was arrested and charged per the Shelby County Grand Jury indictment.
