Four Individuals were Indicted on Multiple Charges

(Webster County) - Following a 6 month investigation by KSP DE/SI West, four individuals were indicted on multiple charges for illegal narcotics trafficking in Webster County. Charged were Roger Hammers (54) of Dixon, David Brian Alexander (18) of Providence, Kenneth Hopper (50) of Clay and Matthew G. Teague (41) of Providence. Mr. Hammers was charged with Cultivation of Marijuana and Trafficking in Marijuana. Mr. Alexander was charged with Trafficking of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree. Mr. Hopper was charged with Complicity to Traffic a Controlled Substance Within 1000 Yards of a School and Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree. Mr. Teague was charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, and Trafficking in Marijuana. At the time of Mr. Teague's arrest he was located with additional narcotics and $9,000 dollars cash. Mr. Teague was additionally charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Trafficking a Controlled Substance Within 1000 Yards of a School. Mr. Alexander, Mr. Hopper and Mr. Teague were arrested 02-10-09 and lodged in the Webster County Detention Facility. Mr. Hammers was in Circuit Court for a prior matter and was directly arraigned. The investigation into the four individuals is ongoing and no further information is being released at this time.
