Bowling Green Man Injured in Multiple Vehicle Collision

Bowling Green, KY (December 8, 2016) Kentucky State Police Region 2 responded to a 3 vehicle collision on Fairview Avenue inside Bowling Green today at 2:08 p.m. today.
28-year old Justin Jones of Bowling Green was operating a 2013 Ford Fusion south on Fairview Avenue. Jones was stopped awaiting to make a left hand turn into an apartment complex, when 19-year old Wyatt Kinser of Bowling Green operating a 1989 Kenworth dump truck failed to see Jones stopped. Kinser swerved his vehicle to the right striking the passenger side rear of Jones’ vehicle. Kinser then struck a 2014 Freightliner semi-truck being operated by 41-year old Justin Koch of Columbia, TN.
All three drivers were wearing their seat belts. Justin Jones was transported to the Bowling Green Medical Center by the Medical Center EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
Sr. Ofc Chris Duke is investigating the collision and was assisted on scene by members of the Bowling Green Police and Fire Department.
