Injury Collison on KY 80 in Casey County

Windsor, KY (October 1, 2016) Kentucky State Police Columbia investigated a single vehicle injury collision on KY 80 near the Windsor Community this morning at 9:30 a.m.

Preliminary investigations indicate that 16 year-old Amber Burton of Russell Springs was operating a 2005 Chevrolet west on KY 80 when she lost control of her vehicle in a curve. Burton then ran off the road where the vehicle overturned.

Burton was wearing her seat belt and was transported to Lake Cumberland hospital in Somerset with non-life threatening injuries.

Trooper First Class Mike Woodrum is investigating.
