Cub Run, Ky. (June 23, 2016) - Kentucky State Police investigated a two vehicle injury collision involving a tractor trailer on Cub Run Highway near Cub Run today at 1:26pm.

Preliminary investigations indicate 45 year-old Larry Goodman of Glasgow, KY was operating a 2015 Chevrolet traveling West on Cub Run Highway. Goodman said he dropped his cell phone and reached down to pick up the phone. Goodman crossed the center line in a curve into the path of a 2007 Freightliner tractor trailer being operated by 34 year-old Jeffery Burton of Columbia.

Goodman had minor injuries, but refused treatment by Hart County EMS. Burton was not injured during the collision. Goodman and Burton were both wearing their seat belts.

Sr. Officer Nick Pruitt investigated the collision and was assisted at the scene by Trooper First Class Jewell, Hart County EMS and Cub Run Fire Dept.
