Injury Collision on West Main Street in Lebanon Involving a Motorcycle

Lebanon, Ky. (June 16, 2016) - Kentucky State Police investigated a two vehicle injury collision involving a motorcycle on West Main Street in the city limits of Lebanon last night at 7:41p.m.

Preliminary investigations indicate 66 year-old Gloria Scott of Lebanon was operating a 1999 GMC north on West Main Street. Scott was attempting to turn into Kentucky Fried Chicken, when she pulled into the path of a 2005 Honda motorcycle being operated by 23 year-old Michael Sims of Lebanon.

Sims was transported to Springview Hospital with non-life threatening injuries by the Marion County EMS. Sims was wearing a helmet. Scott and a passenger 16 year-old Jaeden Lucas of Lebanon were both wearing their seat belt and were not injured.

Trooper Lincoln Lawless investigated the collision and was assisted at the scene by Lebanon Police and Marion County EMS.
