KSP Participates In 6 State Trooper Project

(Henderson, Ky) - The Kentucky State Police have partnered with Ohio State Highway Patrol, Indiana State Police, Pennsylvania State Police, West Virginia State Police and the Michigan State police to ensure your safety on major highways. The 6 State Trooper project will run from July 20th 2014 to July 26th 2014. Troopers and officers will be watching for distracted drivers throughout the course of the project in an attempt to prevent vehicle accidents. Last year in Kentucky, there were over 52,500 crashes resulting in over 9,000 injuries and 163 fatal collisions due to distracted driving.
