CVE Region 3 Officer Receives Impaired Driving Enforcement Award

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- (Dec 5, 2012) - The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety (KOHS) honored 197 law enforcement officers from 164 agencies across the Commonwealth for their efforts to target impaired drivers.

The 2012 Governor's Impaired Driving Enforcement Awards ceremony was held at the Galt House Hotel and Suites in Louisville. Awards were presented to officers with the most impaired driving arrests in each agency and division.

Officer Jeremy Younger, of Frankfort, was awarded for arresting the most DUI's at the Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Region 3 in 2012.

During the 2012 Governor's Impaired Driving Enforcement Awards Ceremony, Younger was recognized for his efforts in traffic safety, leading to the arrests of 51 people charged with Driving Under the Influence.

Officer Younger is a 3yr veteran in Region 3 and is based out of Georgetown. He is a 2003 graduate of Western Hills High School and a 2006 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. He is the son of Larry and Betty Younger of Frankfort.
