KSP Hires a Local Resident

(Frankfort, Ky.) -- An Adair County resident, Mr. Joshua Brockman, recently accepted a position with the Kentucky State Police. Brockman joined the ranks as a Kentucky State Police officer assigned to Region 2 of the Commercial Vehicle Enforcment Division. Region 2 is based in Louisville and covers 27 counties.

Brockman just completed his field training phase in which he was paired with a field training officer. During this time, Brockman faced numerous tasks and evaluations to supplement his prior police training and to go beyond that which is possible in a classroom setting.

Brockman has successfully completed training in the highly specialized areas of federal truck regulations and hazardous materials training at the Kentucky State Police academy in Frankfort. He also served previously as an officer with the Columbia Police Department for 8 years.

Joshua resides in Columbia with his wife Amy and three children Leighton, Gavin, and Camden. His parents are Larry and Cathy Brockman of Columbia.
