One Killed and Three Injured in a Two Vehicle Collision

(London, Ky.) -- On Friday July 30, 2010 at 10:42 PM the Kentucky State Police, Post 11, London received a report of a two vehicle traffic crash on US 25E in Laurel County.
Upon arrival KSP CVE Officer Mike Hamblin determined that a 1996 Toyota, Corolla, operated by Aaron Durham, 18, of London, was northbound on US 25E when it turned into the path of a 2002, Chevrolet, Monte Carlo, operated by Steven Blankenship, 19, of Corbin.
Mr. Durham and Mr. Blankenship were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Two passengers in the Durham vehicle, Kathleen Durham, 51, and Cody Durham, 20, were flown from the scene to the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN for treatment of their injuries.
Kathleen Durham was pronounced dead by the Knox County Tennessee Coroner's Office at 01:36 AM.
CVE Officer Hamblin is continuing the investigation and was assisted by troopers of the Kentucky State Police.
