Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer Receives DUI Award

(Lexington, Ky) On December 1st, 2010 Commercial Vehicle Enforcement officers were recognized at the Governor's Impaired Driving Enforcement Awards at the Embassy Suites in Lexington. Law enforcement officers, agencies, and individuals from across the state were recognized for their outstanding achievements in making Kentucky highways safer by removing impaired drivers from the road.
During the ceremony Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer Keith Armstrong received the award for the highest number of DUI Arrests among the western section of the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division. Officer Armstrong is a resident of Taylor County and commonly patrols Spencer and Shelby Counties in Commercial Vehicle Enforcement's Region 3.
Officer Armstong's commitment to removing impaired drivers from the Kentucky roadways is a testament to the hard work of the Kentucky State Police Division of Commercial Vehicle Enforcement.
