Occurred on May 15, 1981, Smiths Grove, Ky.
The Kentucky State Police request help in resolving the murder of Linda Sue Boards. The body of Boards was found on May 15, 1981 on a farm located on Hydro-Pondsville Road, 1.4 miles southeast of Smiths Grove, Ky.
Boards was last seen leaving the Peacemaker's Club on 3rd St. in Bowling Green. She was found a few days later on the farm property. She was wearing a brown suede coat, brown lace up shoes, a light green knit blouse, and bra. She had been raped and strangled to death.
Investigators from Post 3 Bowling Green are asking anyone with information regarding the murder of Linda Sue Boards to contact Lt. John Clark or Detective Sergeant Tommy Smith.
