The Kentucky State Police in Bowling Green are asking for help in solving the murder of David Richard Smith. The body of Smith was found in the Gasper River, north of Bowling Green, KY.

David Richard Smith was last seen walking on Johnson Ave. in Bowling Green, KY on 10/27/1987 walking toward Time Out Deli. The victim was discovered decomposed in the Gasper River. The immediate cause of death is unknown.

Investigators from Post 3 Bowling Green are asking anyone with information regarding the murder of David Richard Smith to contact Det. Sgt. Tim Adams.
