The Kentucky State Police is requesting the public's assistance in developing new leads on a cold case.

On September 10, 1979, Tony Shemwell, DOB April 11, 1962, was shot as he was attempting to leave the mobile home of a friend at approximately 1:30 a.m. He later died at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
