State Police Request Help Resolving the Murder of Mary Ann Crenshaw - Occurred April 30, 1973
Victim: Mary Ann Crenshaw, White Female, 77 years of age.
Location:Victim's residence — Martin-Martin Road, ¾ mile West of Smith Mills, Kentucky.
Subject(s) gained entry to Ms. Crenshaw's home by breaking glass in storm door and opening wood door. A gunfight evidently erupted between victim and intruder and Ms. Crenshaw fired six (6) rounds from a revolver before she was murdered by the intruder. Ms. Crenshaw died of three (3) gunshot wounds.
