State Police Request Help Resolving the Murder of Donald Ray Baird
Victim: Donald Ray Baird, White Male, 25 years of age.
Location: #4 Townhouse Apartments, Morganfield, Union County, Kentucky.
On July 24, 1981, the victim was found by his brother shot to death in his apartment in Morganfield, Kentucky. The murder weapon, a .38 caliber revolver, was found laying beside the victim. (It was later determined the weapon was owned by the victim.) Death was caused by three (3) rounds — two (2) in the chest and one (1) in the head.
