State Police Request Help Resolving the Murder of David James - Body Found on July 7th, 1999
On July 7th, 1999, the body of David James, 29 year old white male from Lancaster, Ohio, was discovered in a wooded area off the AA Highway in Greenup County, Ky by a hunter. The body had been unidentified until 2003 when the Kentucky State Medical Examiner's office matched dental records with the missing subject from the Lancaster Police Department in Lancaster, Ohio. James had been shot in the head but it is unclear whether the murder took place in Kentucky or in Ohio.
Detectives are requesting help from the community or anyone who might have information on the murder of David James of Lancaster, Ohio.
