Cold Case of John Thomas Thompson

On May 24, 1979 the body of John Thomas Thompson was discovered on an abandoned strip mine road in Breathitt County. The cause of death was blunt force trauma to his head.

To date the perpetrator(s) have not been identified, and brought to trial.
