Cold Case of Paul Birdsong

Kentucky State Police Request Help Resolving Paul Birdsong Murder

Paul Birdsong, a 29 year old black male was found dead in high weeds located approximately 70 feet off the westbound side of Interstate 64. Mr. Birdsong was shot one time in the head and with a small caliber gun. It appears that Mr. Birdsong was killed at an undetermined location and later transported and placed off the interstate where his remains were located by three hunters on December 10, 1982 at approximately 1430 hours. The time and location of the murder is unknown.
