Kentucky State Police Request Help Resolving William Tipton Murder
Occurred on August 10, 1985 on KY 53 3.9 Miles South Shelbyville, KY
On Saturday, August 10, 1985, William Tipton was fatally struck on KY 53 3.9 miles South of Shelbyville as he was apparently sitting in the roadway in the southbound lane. Victim was struck on the right side of the head, presumably from a car or truck bumper. After impact the driver failed to stop and continued on southbound on Ky 53.
