KSP Charges Fayette County Man With Possession Of Child Pornography

(Lexington, Ky.) - On Sept. 24, 2014, at approximately 9:00 a.m., the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested David Browning, 35, on charges related to possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.
Browning was arrested as the result of an ongoing Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch was made aware of the offense through a cyber tip generated by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Further investigation led troopers to Browning's residence in Lexington, Ky. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP's forensic laboratory for examination.
The investigation is ongoing. Browning is currently charged with 17 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. He was lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
