KSP Charges Campbell Co. Man With Possession and Distribution of Child Pornography

(Cold Spring, Ky.) - On August 22, 2014, at approximately 9:00 a.m., the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch, assisted by KSP Post 6-Dry Ridge, arrested Daniel Zink, 22, for charges related to possession and distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.
Zink was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch was made aware of the offense while conducting an undercover online chat investigation.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant within the city limits of Cold Spring, Ky. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP's forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.
Zink is currently charged with one count of distribution and four counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Zink was lodged in the Campbell Co. Detention Center on a $10,000.00 cash bond.
