Stanton Man Arrested on Sex Charges

(Frankfort, Ky.) -- On June 6, 2010, Jerry D. Rogers Sr., age 47, of Stanton, Ky. was arrested by Kentucky State Police Electronic Crimes Branch as a result of a joint undercover operation with Lexington Police Department. Mr. Rogers traveled to Winchester, Kentucky in order to meet an adult female accompanied by two underage girls, ages 8 and 10 years old, to engage in sexual activity with the children. Mr. Rogers was charged with unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual activities. He was lodged in the Clark County Detention Center on $10,000 bond. The investigation is continuing.
