Salyersville Man Arrested

(Frankfort, KY) - On October 10, 2008, Walter Edward Hardin, age 28, of Salyersville, Ky., was arrested by the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Section (Kentucky Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force) as the result of an online undercover investigation. Hardin traveled to Lexington, Kentucky to meet a 15 year old girl to engage in sexual activity. Hardin was charged with unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual activities. He was lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center. The investigation is continuing.
