Kentucky State Police Invites Public Comment On Performance

(FRANKFORT, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is asking citizens throughout the Commonwealth for their input concerning the agency's performance and effectiveness.
"The mission statement of the Kentucky State Police directs the agency to promote public safety through service, integrity and professionalism, utilizing partnerships to prevent, reduce and deter crime and the fear of crime; enhance highway safety through education and enforcement; and safeguard property and protect individual rights," says KSP Commissioner Jack Adams.
"We want to hear from citizens in communities throughout the state regarding which KSP services are considered positive and which need improvement," says Adams. "Through continuous improvement, it is our goal to provide the highest level of protection to the citizens of Kentucky and make communities throughout the state better and safer places to live. To accomplish this, we encourage open communication."
Citizens can visit the KSP web site at www.kentuckystatepolice.org to complete an anonymous survey online or they can download the survey and mail the completed form to Kentucky State Police, Strategic Planning Branch, 919 Versailles Road, Frankfort, KY 40601.
