Law Enforcement Turns on the Blue Lights to Promote Summer Traffic Safety

FRANKFORT, KY- Justice & Public Safety Cabinet Secretary General Norman E. Arflack along with other law enforcement officials will participate in the Kentucky State Police Governor's Highway Safety Program to announce the Commonwealth's upcoming summer traffic safety campaign and mobilization, "Blue Lights Across the Bluegrass." The event will take place Friday, June 30 at 9:30 a.m. at the Shelby County rest area and welcome center.
July 2, 3 and 4 are among the ten deadliest days of the year on U.S. roadways according to a study conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
