Kentucky State Police Investigating Triple Shooting

(PIKEVILLE, Ky.) -The Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post is currently investigating a triple shooting at a residence on E and R Road in Elkhorn City. The three victims were located at the residence late this afternoon.

After receiving information regarding the shootings, Kentucky State Police located a vehicle being operated by the suspect believed to be involved in the shootings. The vehicle was involved in a motor vehicle crash on Powell's Creek a short time later. The suspect, along with an occupant in the second vehicle were both killed in the crash.

Kentucky State Police personnel are currently at both scenes. The investigation is continuing and more information will be released as it becomes available.
